Liverpool star hints he will be fit for Manchester United clash
Liverpool Face Tough Times with Injuries and Defeats
Liverpool are going through a difficult moment as they enter the October international break. The team recently lost 2-1 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge — their third defeat in a row. This loss not only hurt their confidence but also added to their growing list of injured players.
The biggest concern for manager Arne Slot is the injury to goalkeeper Alisson Becker, who hurt his hamstring during the Champions League game against Galatasaray. He is expected to be out for at least six weeks, which means he might not return until the end of November.
Another problem is defender Ibrahima Konaté, who left the Chelsea match with pain in his leg. Although France coach Didier Deschamps said Konaté is fit, Liverpool are still being careful with him.
There was also worry about Andy Robertson, who was seen limping after the Chelsea match and needed help to leave the field. Thankfully, his injury doesn’t seem serious. In fact, Robertson said he feels ready to play for Scotland in their upcoming World Cup qualifying match against Greece.
Speaking to Scotland’s official YouTube channel, Robertson shared his excitement:
“I can’t wait to play again in front of the fans. We started well in September, and now we have two home games. If we perform our best, we’ll get the results we deserve.”
For now, Liverpool will use this break to recover and prepare for their big clash against Manchester United later this month. Fans will be hoping the team returns stronger — both physically and mentally
